Association Events
A
SELF REFLECTION
This is the home page for
Association Events. These shall be updated as frequently as they come up. If
your Chapter or local sister Organization is planning an event, all you need
to do is send us details so we can have it announced on this page.
Meanwhile, we feature some of the photos of delegates at the 2006 and 2007
Annual Conventions on the
Convention Page. While Atlanta, Georgia
hosted the 2006 edition, 2007's was held in Houston, Texas.
Watch out for the 2008 Edition on this page soon. See also details of the
Conventions so far by clicking the link in the box below.
Dr. Nwafejoku Uwadibe
passed. Below, excerpt of the words of the man who knew him closely, our
President, Joe Iyegbu:
Here
at this final hour, in this quiet place, we have come to bid farewell to one of
our brightest hopes, extinguished now and gone from us forever.
It is quite natural for those of us
left behind to lament the loss of a departed loved one.
But in the case of Prof. Nwafejoku
Okolie Uwadibie, the sadness is eased by a large measure of gratitude, and even
joy because death is a tragedy only if ones life had been misspent in
selfishness or if one died so young as to be unable to fulfill lifes promises.
